RONALD H. MELCHIN - BOARD CHAIRMAN
Ron Melchin has lived in the Sacramento area for over 24 years. Over the past 20 years, his practice (Law Office of Ronald H. Melchin) has emphasized the areas of general business law, corporations, real estate, securities, taxation, trusts, estate planning and non-profit organizations.
In addition to his law practice, he has been a visiting professor of Microeconomics at Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu, Hawaii as well as an adjunct Professor at American River College in Sacramento and Humphrey College in Stockton, California. Ron has been serving on the Easter Seals Board of Directors since 2004.
KEVIN LEAMY - TREASURER
Kevin Leamy is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, and has over 15 years of experience in the field of landscape architecture. He is a principal for Fuhrman Leamy Land Group, and manages design services for new communities, parks and recreation, and commercial projects, while continually focusing on business development.
Kevin is a licensed landscape architect in California and Nevada, a LEED Accredited Professional, a California Certified Nursery Professional, a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects Sierra Chapter, and on the Leadership Council of Ignite. He recently joined the Easter Seals Board of Directors in 2009.

PETER VAN DEVENTER - FIRST VICE CHAIRMAN
Peter Van Deventer is the President & CEO of SynapSense Corporation since co-founding the company in 2006. As CEO, Pete is responsible for the corporation's strategy, financial management and operational execution. Pete is an established veteran of global technology market development, with over 21 years of international business experience. Prior to SynapSense, Pete spent a decade at Intel Corporation in a variety of sales, marketing and operational roles, including serving on the global Sales and Marketing, Flash Memories, and Mobile Products Group executive staffs. He was the Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for the global ramp of Centrino™ mobile technology and was involved in greater than 100 different technology ramps. Prior to Intel, Pete founded and built three companies. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and holds an International MBA from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management. Pete is married with two children and loves to sail and play golf.

LISA STANLEY - SECRETARY
Lisa Stanley serves as a Vice President for CB Richard Ellis, specializing in the sale and leasing of office property in the Greater Sacramento area and Northern California. Lisa has a strategic approach to serving her clients, by paying attention to her clients’ needs and formulating an action plan that is specific to each requirement. Her comprehensive knowledge of the Greater Sacramento market allows her to negotiate with strength, consistently beating the market and winning favorable economic terms for her clients.
Lisa dedicates herself to representing an array of companies from local business owners to international firms. She advises companies with respect to lease negotiations, relocations, expansions, consolidations, subleases, building acquisitions and dispositions.
Some of Lisa’s notable client relationships include: US Bank, Northrop Grumman, Wells Fargo, American Diabetes Association and Comerica. Lisa has completed over 350 lease and sale transactions throughout her career.
MICHAEL G. CHEZ
Michael Chez MD is the Director of Pediatric Neurology and Pediatric Epilepsy at Sutter Memorial and Sutter Neuroscience Medical Group. He is a board certified pediatric neurologist and is a pediatric epileptologist as well. He trained at IndianaUniversity Medical School and did his pediatrics training at Johns Hopkins University, before completing his child neurology training at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago and then Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland.
Dr. Chez has published numerous scientific articles, book chapters, and is author of the book Medical Management of Autism: A guide for Parents and Professionals.

LINDA CHRISTOPHER
Linda Christopher is employed by LEED – Linking Education and Economic Development as Director of Educational Development. She directs the Sacramento Regional Project Lead The Way Network and also manages LEED's work in developing and promoting theme based, project based learning programs in area high schools, leveraging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education and Career and Technical Education and serve as a primary point of contact to school districts, community colleges and universities in the six county Sacramento region. Linda holds a B.S. from Concordia University in Nebraska, and a Master of Arts in Education Administration from CSUS. She is a Nationally Board Certified teacher, has three children and stays busy while keeping up with all of their activities. She enjoys reading, shopping, Star Trek and has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
